A Small Train Bringing Big Smiles to Denizli

If you happen to visit Çamlık City Forest in Denizli these days, you might notice something new moving slowly through the park — a colorful little train full of excited kids.

That train is our EFE Model Electric Kids Train, and we recently introduced it to the city through a collaboration with Denizli Metropolitan Municipality Culture, Trade, Tourism and Geopark Inc.

Since the start of the Ramadan events, the train has quickly become one of the attractions children look forward to the most. Families walking through the park often stop when they hear the whistle, and before long the wagons are filled with kids ready for their short adventure around the forest.

It’s a simple ride, but judging by the smiles, it seems to be exactly what they were hoping for.

Designed and Built Locally

The EFE train is part of our locally manufactured trackless train series, designed especially for parks, tourism areas and family-friendly environments.

The train itself is made up of five sections — a locomotive at the front, an open coal-style wagon behind it, and three passenger wagons where children sit during the ride.

We built the structure using a steel frame, which helps the train stay durable even when it’s used outdoors every day. Parks and public areas can be demanding environments, so durability was something we focused on from the beginning.

Inside the wagons, the seating is made with foam padding and leather upholstery, making the ride comfortable while also easy to maintain.

Quiet, Electric and Practical

Another important feature is that the train runs entirely on electric power. The 48V DC motor allows it to move smoothly and quietly through the park, which is especially important in a natural environment like Çamlık Forest.

The train uses automatic charging batteries, and when fully charged it can travel up to about 50 kilometers. That range makes it practical for daily operation during busy events.

The locomotive itself measures 280 x 105 x 185 cm and weighs around 480 kilograms, giving it a stable structure while still remaining easy to maneuver.

Wagons Made for Young Passengers

The passenger wagons were designed with children in mind. Each one measures 140 x 90 x 70 cm, which provides enough space for several kids to sit comfortably during the ride.

Each wagon can carry up to 320 kg, and the train is equipped with hydraulic disc brakes and durable 3.50×6 wheels, which help ensure safe and smooth operation.

Another useful detail is the 4.5 meter turning radius, allowing the train to move easily through park paths and event areas.

A Fun Moment in the Middle of Nature

During the Ramadan celebrations, the train rides have become a small but memorable part of the experience at Çamlık City Forest.

Children climb into the wagons, the bell rings, and for a few minutes they get to enjoy a ride through the trees. For many of them, it’s their first time sitting in a train like this — and that alone makes it exciting.

Sometimes the simplest activities turn out to be the most memorable ones.
